Instructions

Step 1
A large bowl, add yeast and dissolve with water

Mix to ensure yeast is completely dissolved and cover with a clean kitchen towel for about 2 minutes

Add sugar, milk, salt, and flour

Mix until dough comes together

Transfer to a clean work surface or pastry mat

Kneed for 5 minutes and add butter

Kneed until smooth or dough springs back when touched

Transfer to an oiled bowl and cover to rise for 60 minutes

Deflate dough and transfer to a clean work surface

Cut into equal portions and rollout until flat

Add cheese evenly on the edge of the dough

Fold dough over the cheese and roll

Transfer to a baking sheet or pan

Cover with kitchen towel and allow to rise for 60 minutes

Bake at 350°F/180°C for 30 minutes

Brush generously with homemade garlic butter

To make fresh garlic butter

Add garlic to foil paper and drizzle with oil

Cover tightly and roast at 375°f for 20 in airfryer or 40 minutes in the oven

Smash soft garlic then combine with melted butter, salt and parsley

Brush generously on bread
