Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter, crisco, and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix.
Step 2
Add flour, salt, baking powder, and zest from 1 Lemon to mixture alternately with milk. Beat well.
Step 3
Pour into large pound cake tube pan that had been sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 4
Put in cold oven and bake at 350 for 1.5 hours.
Step 5
Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest from 1 Lemon and spread on cake while warm.
