Step 1
Put the water, sugar, walnuts, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a pot and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes. Put orange peel, 2-3 dashes of the bitters and 3/4 ounce of the syrup in a glass and muddle. Add 2oz whiskey, your ice, stir and fire up the song! Syrup is good in the fridge for 2 weeks.
