Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Line a 8x8 (or 13x9 for a thinner bar) with parchment paper.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix ground kix cereal and melted margarine. Mix until fully combined.
Step 4
Press into the bottom of your pan evenly to form the base.
Step 5
Add to your pan the chips and nuts. Spread so it forms an even layer.
Step 6
Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the chips. Don’t worry if it doesn’t fully coat, it will absorb into the chocolate when you bake it. Just try to spread it over as much as you can.
Step 7
Top with an even layer of coconut.
Step 8
Bake for 25 minutes and check on the color of the coconut. It should only be slightly browned. If fully browned, cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes. If it’s still light, rotate and continue to cook.
