Tie Dye Cookies - color my no fail sugar cookie dough with lots of colors. Roll them together and slice and bake. Kids love these tie dye cookies so much.

Instructions
Step 1
Separate the dough into as many bowls as colors you want to make for the cookies.
Step 2
Work in as much food coloring as need to get the desired color. I am guessing about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon food coloring per bowl.
Step 3
Pinch off pieces of the dough and form a loose log shape on a piece of parchment paper. We did some really little pieces and some larger for variation in the dough.
Step 4
Roll up the cookies in the parchment to form a log.
Step 5
Chill the dough for about 2 hours or until firm. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and bake according to the recipe.
Step 6
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
Step 7
MSS NOTE: Original says this recipe yields 2 dozen cookies. Since the recipe doesn’t include the actual cookie, look for a sugar cookie recipe that makes 2 dozen cookies.
