Step 1
Fry bacon and drain. Crumble when cool. Fry Okra in bacon dripping until Crisp.
Add salt to okra and Drain on paper towel. When okra is cool, add tomatoes, bell pepper, green onions and crumbled bacon. If making for the next day fry okra the night before cool and place an airtight container and refrigerate.
If planning on leftovers it is best to keep raw vegetables separate from the okra and the bacon which will become greasy.
