Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and trim excess fat from bone in Boston butt.
Step 2
Place in crock pot (use liner for easy clean up). Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper all sides.
Step 3
Add water and quartered onion.
Step 4
Put the lid on. Set timer.
Step 5
Allow to cool some before removing from crock pot. I place in a colander set inside a big pot to allow any fat to drain off.
