Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2
Fill a large pot with water and heat to boiling over medium-high heat. Cook the potatoes until tender, 15–20 minutes. Drain potatoes in a strainer, return to the pot, and mash with a potato masher until almost smooth.
Step 3
Add the pumpkin, cream cheese, half-and-half, butter, garlic powder, and salt; mash together until well combined. Spread in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with paprika. Bake until top is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
