Chewy sticky drinkable mochi paired with warm sweet brown sugar water. This brown sugar mochi drink is our Asian girls’ secret comfort drink during that time of the month. Feel free to substitute the brown sugar water with any other hot drink you like!

Instructions
Step 1
Add sugar, tapioca powder, and milk to a medium nonstick pot, stir until dissolved.

Turn on medium low heat, stir continuously until the mixture starts to turn thickened. Turn off the heat.

Use residual heat, stir to thicken the mixture until there’s no liquid in the pot.
Step 4
Transfer the drinkable mochi to a cup.
Step 5
In another cup, add 1 tbsp of brown sugar to 1 cup of hot water. Stir until dissolved. Or you can substitute the brown sugar water with hot coffee latte or milk tea.
Step 6
Pour the brown sugar water over the mochi.
Step 7
Stir and enjoy!
