Instructions
Step 1
Thinly slice the butter, keep chilled. Mix flour and salt together in mixer. Slowly add butter and mix until dough forms. Add a little ice water as needed.
Step 2
Wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
To use: roll out on lightly floured surface to desired thickness and size.
Step 4
Place in dish or over (pre-cooked) pie filling. If used as crust, brush with an egg wash (optional).
Step 5
Bake between 350-400 until golden.
