Instructions

Step 1
Peel, core, and cut apples into 16th piece slices and place in a large bowl.
Step 2
Mix dry ingredient, sprinkle over apple slices, and fold to evenly coat the fruit
Step 3
Mound the fruit into an uncooked crust, evenly place pats of butter, and sprinkle vanilla onto the apples.
Step 4
Close the pie with a top crust, slicing in steam vents, and crimp.
Step 5
Bake at 400° for 30-40 minutes.
