Step 1
Put the grill cover on a high fire
Step 2
Combine the coffee, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and cayenne pepper in a bow to make a rub.
Step 3
Remove steak from refrigerator and let come to room temperature, about 15 minutes. Rub steak with oil, and sprinkle with spice rub. Massage spice rub into meat.
Step 4
Sear until charred and medium rare, 2 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board, cover with foil and let rest 5 minutes before thinly slicing against the grain.
