CREAMY LEMON CAKE This cake has a perfect lemon flavor and a crazy creamy-moistiness! The secret to this melt-in-your-mouth cake is to add the ingredients one by one and mix well each time. RECIPE: 🌿 In a bowl mix the sugar and lemon with your fingertips to release the essential oils from the citrus 🌿 Add the cooled melted butter and mix 🌿 Pour in the salt and lemon juice, mix, the egg, mix, the baking powder, mix again and finish with the flour, a little at a time, which we will emulsify well with a whisk 🌿 Spread the dough in a lined mold (ΓΈ 23 cm for me) with a hinge (important for unmolding) and set aside 🌿 For the cream, mix the sugar and lemon zest 🌿 Add the egg, mix, cream cheese, mix, lemon juice and whisk well 🌿 Pour the mixture over the raw biscuit dough and bake 55 min. at 170Β° Celsius 🌿 Let cool, unmold and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving BISCUIT INGREDIENTS: βœ… 110 gr melted and cooled butter βœ… 90 gr of sugar βœ… 1 egg at room temperature βœ… Zest + juice of 1 organic or untreated lemon βœ… 165 gr flour βœ… 4 gr of baking powder βœ… 1 good pinch of salt CREAM INGREDIENTS: βœ… 300 gr room temperature cream cheese βœ… 100 gr of sugar βœ… 1 egg at room temperature βœ… Zest + juice of Β½ organic or untreated lemon ♨️ COOKING: 55 minutes at 170Β° Celsius
