Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet, add the ground beef and diced onions when almost done, add the minced garlic until fragrant and ground beef is completely cooked. Drain excess grease as much as possible.
Step 2
After draining, return the ground beef mixture to your skillet. Add sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, pinto beans, black beans, 2 TBSP of dry ranch seasoning, and 3/4 cup of shredded cheese. Stir and bring until warm. Make sure to stir this mix frequently.
Step 3
Once your mixture is warm, transfer the contents of the skillet to a 9x13 casserole pan (spray with non-stick spray first to your dish for easy clean up). Then place tater tots on top of the mixture. Use the rest of your cheese over the entire casserole.
Step 4
Cover your mix with foil and cook at 375 for 30-40 minutes. Remove foil and cook for another 5-10 mins or until your tater tots and cheese are crisp and golden brown.
