Step 1
Add the milk and flour into a saucepan and mix on the stove until it forms a thick consistency.

Let cool, stirring occasionally

Mix butter and sugar, add in the walnuts and mix into the thick mixture.
Step 4
Spread onto the cakes, put the leftover batter on top and sprinkle with some more ground walnuts.

Mix the butter, egg, vanilla and sugar in a mixer with the paddle attachment for about 15 minutes.
Step 6
Add flour, milk, baking powder and walnuts.
Step 7
Mix everything together and pour into a lined baking tray.
Step 8
Bake at 160C for 30. Take out, let cool, cut into 3 parts and fill with filling.
