Hot Dog Bundt Cake

The Dough
600gstrong bread flour
1 tspsalt
200mlwater
room temp
200mlmilk
room temp
1 tspyeast
2 Tbspsoft brown sugar
100gbutter
softened
The Bundt Cake
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the milk, water, brown sugar and yeast and let sit for 10 mins

In a large bowl mix the flour and salt and pour in the yeast mixture and combine

Add 100g softened butter, knead into the dough and continue to knead for 10 minutes

Leave in a bowl covered with cling film for 1-2 hours til doubled in size

Fry the hotdogs off in 50g butter on medium heat for 3-4 minutes to brown a bit, then set aside to cook and reserve the butter in a pot for later

Slice the onion and grill those off in the greased pan til brown and a bit softened and set aside to cool

Pull the dough out and split in half then roll each half out to approx 25 x 35cm rectangle and cut into 6

Brush each piece with butter and lay a hot dog and roll the dough around it. Do some with grilled onions, some with cheese

Cut each rolled hotdog into 3, lay these spaced out on a few trays, cover with cling film and let rise for 1-2 hours til doubled in size

Preheat the oven to 200C

Brush each piece with hot dog butter and stack into a Bundt cake or normal cake tin and brush the top with any remaining butter Bake at 200C for 20 minutes, cover with foil then bake at 170C for a further 25 minutes

You can brush with more butter at the end to make it look more glossy, then top with ketchup and mustard and serve!
