Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°

Cream the butter and sugar together in a stand or hand mixer

Add the vanilla and egg and mix

Scrape the sides and add the baking powder, salt and 1/2 the flour. Mix slowly. Scrape the sides. Mix the rest of the flour until the dough forms. Refrigerate 30 minutes

Divide dough equally into 4 bowls.

Add 5 or more drops of each color to 3 of the dough balls (pink, teal, purple) and mix well. I put on gloves and use my hands to mix them. leave 1 dough ball plain

Take about 1/2 tbsp from each color and roll them all together into a ball, don’t mix too much you don’t want to muddy the colors. flatten it out a little and add to a cookie sheet.

Bake at 350° 9-15 minutes (start checking at 9 minutes) my cookies took 14 minutes

Let them cool then with black icing pipe on little stitches where the different color meet
