Green chili sauce

Green chili sauce can be used for enchiladas, lluevos rancheros, or to spoon over a bowl of Pinto beans.

Step 1

Brown ground beef and garlic

Step 2

Add salt, green chilies and 12 oz of water

Step 3

Stir well, let come to a boil

Step 4

Mix corn starch and ⅓c of water, blending well. (I use the jar from the chilies and shake it with vigor.)

Step 5

Slowly pour cornstarch mixture into the pot, stirring continuously

Step 6

Turn heat down to simmer, stirring occasionally

Step 7

When the consistency is that of gravy, it's ready to enjoy.
