Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Go-to side to pair with any holiday ham.
Frozen cubed hash browns work best for this recipe. I put them in a colander lined with a dish towel overnight in the refrigerator to thaw. Put the 2 cups of cornflakes in a bag and use the box or a rolling pin to crush them up.

Step 1
Thaw potatoes in a colander.

Mix cornflakes with melted butter/margarine/ghee.
Step 3
Mix potatoes with remaining ingredients.
Step 4
Put mixture in a lightly greased 13 x 9 casserole.
Step 5
Top with cornflake mixture.
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
