Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 450. Stir melted cream cheese into biscuit mix until thoroughly combined, then make a well in the center. Pour milk in all at once and stir until thoroughly combined. 2. Knead about 20 times on a surface well-coated with biscuit mix and with some biscuit mix sprinkled on top of dough to keep hands from sticking. 3. Roll out dough to between ½ to ¾ inch thick, then cut out with biscuit cutter dipped in biscuit mix. Gather and knead any remaining scraps in hands—NOT in biscuit mix—then re-roll and cut again. Repeat until all scraps are used. 4. Place all biscuits on ungreased baking sheets as they are cut out, spaced apart so they’re not touching. Brush tops with melted butter until all the butter has been used. 5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bottoms are medium to medium-dark brown and tops are very lightly golden. Makes 9 to 13 biscuits.
