1turkey
any size

1 Tbspolive oil
for every 3kg, Drizzled over outside of turkey

1 tspsalt
sprinkled over entirety of turkey, outside and inside

1 Tbsppoultry seasoning
sprinkled over entirety of turkey, outside and inside

Instructions

Step 1
Clean turkey of any feathers or other removable pieces (both inside and out, including hanging fatty pieces), then pay turkey dry w/ paper towel
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350F and put bottom rack on the lowest possible rung.
Step 3
Drizzle olive oil all over turkey, then sprinkle on salt and poultry seasoning, both outside and inside
Step 4
Put stuffing inside bird and close up with toothpicks or another metal tool to seal up the inside.
Step 5
Put in look bag, close shut, and place in roaster. Cut 6, 1” slots in top of bag.
Step 6
If 6-8 kg (12-16 lbs), cook at 350F for 2.5-3 hours.
If 8-10 kg (16-20 lbs), cook at 350F for 3-3.5 hours.
Step 7
Bird is done when it’s browned, and wings are starting to detach.
Gravy

Pour turkey drippings into small pot or saucepan
Step 9
Optional: mix in 1-2 cups of water (this is if you want your gravy to be thinner)
Step 10
Bring to a boil and add flour+water mixture (or corn starch + water mixture). Whisk consistently to make sure there are no clumps.
Step 11
After a few minutes of boiling and whisking, reduce to simmer and pour into serving dish.
