Instructions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for 5 minutes. Add the potato and sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the garlic and minced lamb and cook for 5 more minutes, then add the spices and peas. Turn off the heat and leave to cool.
Step 3
Brush each pastry sheet with melted butter and fold it in half lengthways. Brush them with butter again.
Step 4
Arrange a large spoonful of the filling at the end of one of the sheets, then fold the corner over and triangle-fold it up. Repeat with the rest of the pastry and filing to make 6 pastries.
Step 5
Heat the oil in a deep fat fryer, according to the manufacturer's instructions, to a temperature of 180°C.
