Instructions

Step 1
Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. in large bowl
Step 2
Cut in Shortening with Large Serving Fork to make a coarse crumb=like consistency.
Step 3
Add the Lemon Juice to Milk, then add to flour mixture, blending well, use rubber spatula.
Step 4
Place dough on lightly floured surface and kneed until smooth. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. and cut into rounds.
Step 5
Bake in preheated 450° F oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
