Instructions
Step 1
1.) Wash 2 pints of fresh blueberries (32oz)
Step 2
2.) Add them to your crockpot with one 12oz bag of frozen blueberries.
Step 3
3.) Juice one half of a lemon right on top and drop in half a bar of cream cheese in scattered dollops.
Step 4
4.) Sprinkle 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and the zest from one half of a lemon right on top as well.
Step 5
5.) Pour one box of Betty Crocker Delights, Super Moist Lemon Cake mix on the blueberries making sure they are completely covered and that the mix is spread relatively evenly across the crockpot.
Step 6
6.) Slice up one stick of butter and spread the butter pats across the top of the cake mix.
Step 7
7.) Sprinkle 2 tsp more of lemon zest, 1 tsp of white sugar and one tsp of brown sugar over the butter.
Step 8
8.) Lay a paper towel across the crockpot top before closing the lid. The paper towel will collect condensation and help to make your cobbler crispy.
Step 9
9.) Cook on high for 3 to 3.5 hrs without ever opening the lid. Patience is key here!!
Step 10
10.) Serve with some vanilla ice cream and never buy cobbler else where! Homemade crockpot style is best! This works with many different types of fruit and boxed cake so the options are endless!
