Instructions
Step 1
Place bread cubes in a buttered oven safe dish
Step 2
In a separate bowl mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, and melted butter until combined.

Slowly stir in the milk.
Step 4
Now that your custard has been mixed together, pour over the cubed bread and place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour, to allow the bread to absorb the custard.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Put diced apples on top and sprinkle the top of the bread pudding with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Step 7
Set the dish in a larger pan with 1 inch of hot water. So that the bread pudding can cook evenly.
Step 8
Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour or until set.
Step 9
Serve warm with whipped cream.
