Instructions
Step 1
Add all liquid ingredients + any spices to mason jar, seal with lid, & shake to combine.
Step 2
If using, add protein powders (or mashed bananas) here BEFORE the chia seeds. Combine well before moving on to the next step.
Step 3
Add chia seeds, seal with lid, & shake to combine.
Step 4
Leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes, shaking every few to increase mixing.
Step 5
Refrigerate jar for a minimum of 2 hours, 6-8hrs recommended.
Step 6
Once set, remove jar from fridge and add desired toppings before eating. Enjoy!
Notes
Step 7
Another sweetener option is adding ¼ tsp organic maple syrup, organic agave, or organic honey instead of the stevia.
Step 8
Most people prefer 1 TBSP chia seeds for every 1/4 cup liquid.
Step 9
The golden rule for chia seed pudding: 3-4 tablespoons chia seeds to 1 cup milk ratio. [Use 1 cup of a milk alternative like almond or coconut milk with a 3 tablespoons chia seeds, mix well, and refrigerate overnight.] Chia seed recipe notes can be found here: https://www.eatthis.com/how-to-eat-chia-seeds/
