Instructions

Step 1
Pre heat fan oven to 160 degrees

Cream butter and sugar until light in colour
Step 3
Add eggs 1 by 1

Sieve flour a few times until fine then add to mixture slowly

Add milk
Step 6
Add lemon zest
Step 7
Place in a rectangular tin and bake for 35 to 40 min
Step 8
Add the juice of a lemon and icing sugar to a jug.
Step 9
Once cake is ready microwave the lemon juice and icing sugar for 30 sec and pour over cake
Step 10
If you want a glaze, wait for the cake to cool first
