Instructions

Step 1
Season your shrimp with salt and garlic powder all over. Pat dry with a paper towel and set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk an egg and 3 tbsp of water together to make the egg wash. In another bowl add the arrowroot powder and mix with some salt and garlic powder all over, around 2 tsps each. Coat the shrimp in the egg wash, remove the shrimp and let the egg wash drip off slightly and then coat in the arrowroot powder mixture, making sure the arrowroot sticks and it is well coated.
Step 3
If using an air fryer, coat the air fryer in a layer of oil or spray oil. Working in batches, add your shrimp, giving it enough space to where they are not touching, and air fry the shrimp on 400*F or until golden brown. Remove and place in a clean bowl and finish the other shrimp. If using an oven, preheat an oven to 400*F, place the shrimp on a roasting rack over a baking dish and roast for 12 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
Once all the shrimp are done, coat them with the sweet chili sauce and enjoy! Top with green onions for garnish.
