Instructions

Making the Donuts

Step 1
Combine warmed milk, sugar, and yeast into a bowl. Allow the yeast to bloom (5-10 minutes)
Step 2
After yeast has bloomed, add butter, vanilla extract, and the egg and whisk together
Step 3
Add all purpose flour and cinnamon and mix until a shaggy dough has formed
Step 4
Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and continue to knead until a smooth dough
Step 5
Place into a lightly oiled bowl and let it rise for 2 hours in a warm area
Step 6
After risen, section out the dough and roll into donut hole shapes (about 1-2 inches in diameter)
Step 7
Let this rise for another 1 hour
Step 8
To cook. there are 2 options: air fryer and deep fryer
Step 9
AIR FRYER: Cook at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes
Step 10
DEEP FRYER: Deep fry in oil at 375 degrees for 2 minutes
Step 11
Create holes in the donut using a chopstick
Step 12
Pipe eggnog creme into the holes
Step 13
Top with cinnamon sugar

Egg Nog Creme

Step 14
Pour heavy cream into a bowl and whisk while slowly adding granulated sugars until peaks form
Step 15
Add egg nog and spices then continue to whisk until stiff peaks form
