Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

For the dough
1 cuppumpkin puree
500gflour
21gfresh yeast
4 Tbspsugar
¾ cupplant milk
70gvegan butter
melted
ground nutmeg
¼ tspground cardamom
2ground cloves
salt
For the filling
Frosting (per roll)
Instructions
Step 1
Add all ingredients for the dough to a bowl. Mix with a spoon until roughly combined, then knead for 5-7 minutes until you have a smooth dough.
Step 2
Rub with oil and let it rest, covered, for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 3
Divide in half and roll out each piece into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter and cinnamon sugar, roll into a tight sausage, then cut like shown in the video.
Step 4
Add cinnamon rolls to a baking pan, cover and let them proof for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Bake at 200°C for 18-25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Mix ingredients for the frosting, spread on cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
