Ingredients

½ cupold-fashioned rolled oats

1 tablespoonghee
clarified butter

⅓ cupslivered almonds

⅓ cuphazelnuts
chopped

⅓ cupunsweetened dried coconut

¼ cupport wine

2 tablespoonshoney

1 teaspoonlemon zest

1 tablespoonfresh lemon juice

¼ teaspoonground cinnamon

⅛ teaspoonsea salt

0.06 teaspooncayenne

1pink lady apple
medium, or Fuji or Ambrosia

2 cupsfresh strawberries

1 cupfresh blueberries

1 cupraspberries

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat, then add oats and butter, toast with a sporadic stir until oats are lightly browned, 3-4 minutes. Add the almonds, hazelnuts, and coconuts, and toast over low heat with an occasional stir for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 3
Combine the port, honey, lemon zest and juice, cinnamon, salt, cayenne, and apple in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the berries, and remove from the heat.
Step 4
Pour the berry sauce into a pie plate. Sprinkle the toasted oats and nuts on top. Bake for 15 minutes, or until bubbling. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then serve warm and optionally, add a dollop of whipped cream.
