It takes 10-12 cups of flour. We serve with honey butter or with chili, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa and sour cream on top. Also yummy to make into sandwiches. This recipe makes enough to share with friends.

Step 1
Scald milk. Add sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm.
Step 2
Add eggs, yeast and flour. Let it rise.
Step 3
Roll out about 1/4 inch thick and cut into squares with a knife.
Step 4
Deep fry in oil till golden brown.
