Makes 10 very big cookies - you can do 5, but half an egg is awkward! Lol
Also can just make smaller cookies, but be warned.. you only get 5 bog ones per tray!

Step 1
Heat oven to 180c / 160c fan, and line 2 trays with baking powder
Step 2
In a good sized bowl, mix or blend butter, sugar and syrup (you can micro to melt down butter if needed), add and mix in egg
Step 3
Sprinkle flour over the wet ingredients, make a well for the baking powder, the sprinkle salt in bowl away from the well. Add the chocolate chips. Gently turn the flour into mix using a spatula to combine thoroughly, do not beat or will make them tough
Step 4
Divide mix into 10 rough sized portions, and split them 5 per tray, with gaps between the cookies as they will spread out
Step 5
Bake for 10 mins until light to golden brown, the remove from over and leave to cool, transferring to a wire rack when cool enough
