This is a type of french biscuit.

Ingredients

3 cupsflour
250gbutter
½ cuppowdered sugar
1egg
½ teaspoonvanilla powder
1 ½ teaspoonbaking powder
½ teaspoonlemon zest

Instructions
Step 1
Mix the sugar, butter and vanilla until you get a creamy texture.
Step 2
Add the egg to the sugar and the butter, Then add lemon zest with flour and baking powder.
Step 3
Combine the dough every well and gently fold it several times using spatula.
Step 4
Form the dough to the shape you like, as thin pieces and placed in a tray.
Step 5
Bake in the oven at 170 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes, then leave it to cool down. (When you see the cookies have started browning at the bottom remove from the oven don’t wait it to brown all).
Step 6
Take a piece and spread with jam or any other preferred type and stick another piece on top, and you may sprinkle powdered sugaring to of each.
