pitted

250mlwater

1 tspbicarb soda

60gbutter

2eggs

¾ cupsugar

1 ½ cupsself-raising flour

1 tspvanilla
Caramel Sauce
Instructions
Pudding
Step 1
Place water and dates in large saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Step 2
Grease and line a 23cm square cake tin. Pour in mixture. Bake at 190ºC for 25 minutes.
Caramel Sauce
Step 3
Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Stir over low heat until butter has melted and sugar has dissolved.
