Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, place the melted butter, the sugar, and the cocoa powder and mix using a whisk until it becomes a paste.

Step 2
Add the salt, the orange shavings and the walnuts to the bowl and mix

In a separate bowl, add the cognac and the biscuits and let them sit for 5 minutes to absorb the alcohol. Then transfer them to the other bowl and mix.

Step 4
Spread the mixture onto grease-proof paper and roll into a log shape. Use cling film to fix the shape in place, before tying the grease-proof paper edges, like a caramel candy wrapper. This gives the log a uniform shape.
Step 5
Refrigerate or freeze for 3-4 hours and serve
