Mom’s Banana Nut Bread

I doubled my mom’s banana nut bread….because it’s that good! You will need two 5x9 loaf pans for this recipe.

Preheat oven to 375
Step 2
Mash bananas in a bowl and set aside
Step 3
In a large bowl combine dry ingredients: flour, salt and cinnamon

In a small bowl combine softened butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla

Stir in wet ingredients into large bowl, mix well
Step 6
Heat 1/2 cup of water for 30 seconds in microwave and add baking soda, stir and add to dough
Step 7
Add mashed bananas
Step 8
Add walnuts
Step 9
Pour dough into greased baking tins
Step 10
Bake for 45 min or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Once I begin to smell the banana bread, I check the center with a toothpick
