Instructions

Step 1
Mix the water and 1 cup of sugar in a sauce pan over medium high heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 2
When the mixture start getting small bubbles and the sugar is fully dissolved add the cranberries and mix until we’ll coated
Step 3
Remove the cranberries to a cooling rack (put paper towels or a towel underneath because the simple syrup will drain on to the counter)
Step 4
Let the cranberries sit for 1 hour
Step 5
Pour the cranberries into a bowl with 1 cup sugar and toss together.
Step 6
Store in the fridge in an airtight container up to a week
