I use this with my almond sugar cookies recipe.

Step 1
In a mixer, combine 1/2 cup warm water and merengue powder. Beat 30 sec to 1 min until frothy

Add extract, corn syrup, and cream of Tartar while mixing for a min.
Step 3
Add powdered sugar and small amounts (tablespoon at a time) of warm water until you reach the consistency you desire. I always start a bit thick, because you can always add more in the next steps
Step 4
Portion in small bowls and add gel food coloring to reach desired colors. Add water in small amounts to reach piping & flooding consistency
Step 5
Put in piping bags and have fun!
