Instructions

Step 1
Combine butter and sugars in mixer, 2 minutes on medium speed
Step 2
Add 2 eggs to butter/sugars mix, combine well
Step 3
add molasses to mixture, combine
Step 4
Whisk flour, baking soda, spices and salt together well, make sure baking soda has no lumps.
Step 5
Add flour mix to butter mix, and combine well.
Step 6
Gather dough in a ball, tightly wrap in plastic and refrigerate overnight.
Step 7
Preheat oven to 350 or 325 convection
Step 8
Line baking sheets with parchment.
Step 9
Make 2 Tablespoon sized dough balls, roll in turbinado sugar
Step 10
Bake 10 minutes or til firm and beginning to crackle along whole top of cookie.
Step 11
Cool on racks.
