Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat your oven to 180C/350F/ gas mark 4.

Step 2
Cream margarine and sugar together in a large bowl.
Step 3
Sift in the flour and add all of the other ingredients.
Step 4
Mix until combined. Don't over mix.
Step 5
Line a baking dish (12 x 9 x 2 inch is a good size) with parchment.
Step 6
Bake for 30 minutes or when the top is golden and the sponge is cooked in the middle.
Step 7
Remove the cake from the tin and paper and leave to cool on a wire rack.
Step 8
Make the icing sugar by slowly adding water to the powder in a deep bowl.
Step 9
When it's runny and the cake is cooled, pour over the top and then scatter sprinkles. Cut into chunks.
