I’m happy to share super fun and delicious zero-waste recipe! This is French snack called orangettes. Ever since I made this, I like the peel more than pulp now🤪🧡

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse oranges well with using baking soda.

Cut and scoop out the oranges using a spoon.
Step 3
Cut them into small pieces.
Step 4
Blanch them in boiling water to remove its bitter taste.
Step 5
Add sugar • water • orange juice in the pan and boil.

I used regular OJ.

Let the orange peels simmer for around an hour.

I used a food dehydrator. I dried them for 3hours at 75C degree. If you don’t have one, let the peels natural dry for 24 hours.
Step 10
It’s time to coat orange peel with chocolate. Melt chocolate.
Step 11
Half-dip orange peel in the chocolate and let them fully dry.
Step 12
I placed them on the parchment paper and waited for about 2 hours.
