Instructions
Step 1
Melt the orange chips in the microwave for 40 seconds stirring every 20 seconds.. Take 12 pretzels and dip half of each pretzel into the chocolate. Lay each pretzel on parchment paper to harden. Repeat with the red chips and another 12 pretzels. Repeat with yellow chips and 12 pretzels. Set aside. These are the turkey’s feathers. Next take one donut hole and one truffle. The donut hole will be the turkey’s body and the truffle will be the head. Connect the head to the body using a little piece of pretzel stick. You can use a toothpick to start a hole in the donut and truffle. You can also use a little chocolate as glue but not necessary. Melt the 1/4 cup yellow chips and place in a little ziplock bag. Cut a little off the corner of the bag. Put a dot of yellow on the truffle where the eyes will go and place a candy eye to the yellow. Draw a triangle for the beak with the yellow chocolate. Take a Swedish fish and cut lengthwise in half. Take one half and secure it in between the eyes with some yellow chocolate. Finish your turkey by placing one yellow, one red and one orange feather (chocolate dipped pretzel) into the donut hole behind the turkey’s head. You can also use the toothpick to start the hole for each feather and secure it with some melted chocolate.
