Ingredients

1 ½ cupssugar
1 cupbutter
softened
2eggs
2 ozred food coloring
1 teaspoonvanilla
2 ½ cupscake flour
2 tablespoonscocoa powder
1 cupbuttermilk
1 teaspoonbaking soda
1 teaspoonwhite vinegar
8 ouncescream cheese
softened, frosting
6 tablespoonsbutter
frosting
1 teaspoonvanilla
frosting
1 tablespoonmilk
or cream
4 cupspowdered sugar
frosting
Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar till creamy.. Add eggs, one at a time. Add food coloring and vanilla.
Step 2
Mix in flour and cocoa, alternating with buttermilk. Mix soda and vinegar and add.
Step 3
Bake in three 8 or 9 inch round pans sprayed with baking spray.
Step 4
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Cool for about 30 minutes. Frost
Step 6
For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese, add vanilla and cream.
Step 7
Mix in powdered sugar a little at a time until smooth and creamy.
