Big Mac Smashed Tacos (big batch!)
I’m a little late to this smashed taco trend all over Tiktok but better late then never😁 I’m here to tell you they are worth the hype. I had friends over today and made these to feed many mouths, and they did not disappoint! They were so good and SO EASY to make and assemble. Just prep the sauce and the lettuce ahead of time, and cook off those delicious smashed tacos. It’s easier on a large outdoor griddle but of course you can make this inside on a simple skillet.

Instructions
Make the Big Mac sauce
Step 1
Make this first as this needs to sit in the fridge: chop together the pickles and onion in a food processor. Set aside in a bowl and to it add mayonnaise, ketchup mustard, pickle juice, paprika, granulated onion, granulated garlic, salt, and sugar. Mix well and set in the fridge for the flavours to meld together.
Make the Patties
Step 2
mix together the ground beef with Montreal Steak seasoning, onion, and salt (only if you’re using unsalted seasoning). Make them into small balls about 50 grams or so.
Step 3
On a griddle or skillet on medium low heat, place the balls of ground beef and flatten the burger with a small tortilla on top using anything heavy – I used a clean skillet to push it down. The meat cooks quick and only needs about a minute and a half. Flip to the other side and place shredded cheese on the meat. Fold in half. Both sides should be charred nicely.
Step 4
Take it off the grill and smear big mac sauce and add shredded lettuce to your liking.
