Do you love fresh cut fries? Make them at home perfectly! You can fry them or oven bake them. So delicious! The secret is soaking them first in cold water to remove starch.

Instructions
Step 1
Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water at least an hour or overnight.
Step 2
Rinse and pat very dry
Step 3
Heat oil to 300°
Step 4
Fry potatoes for 5-7 minutes. Work in batches if necessary. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels.
Step 5
Increase oil temperature to 380-400°
Step 6
Fry potatoes another 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove to paper towels and salt immediately.
Step 7
If baking, toss potatoes in olive oil and add to a sheet pan in a single layer, season and bake at 450° for 35-40 minutes, flip halfway
