Summer Strawberry Cake 🍰

This light summer favorite works great as a cake 🎂 or cupcakes 🧁

Step 1

In a large bowl or mixture combine cake mix, soda, eggs, lemon and lime juice

Step 2

Line cupcake pan with liners or spray cake with with non-stick spray

Step 3

Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes for cupcakes 🧁 or 17 to 25 minutes for cake 🎂. Check for doneness with tooth pick. Show come out clean when done. Allow to cool completely

Step 4

For frosting, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and lemon extracts. While continuing mixing, slowly add heavy whipping cream. Continue to mix on high until stiff peaks. It should look like whipped cream only thicker.

Step 5

Frost cake with frosting knife or piping bag.
