Instructions
Step 1
Stir together flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt
Step 2
Beat shortening for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add sugar, beat until combined, scraping the sides of the bowl.
Step 4
Beat in eggs and molasses until combined. Beat in as much flour as possible with mixer.
Step 5
Stir in the rest of the flour.
Step 6
Make a cookie sized ball of dough, roll in sugar and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Step 7
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 min.
