Kanafa is one of my favorite desserts to make and to eat. With just a few ingredients you’ll have a delicious dessert….
——Ingredients——
-1 packet of shredded phyllo dough
-16oz of fresh mozzarella cheese
-8oz of sweet cheese (I get mine from the middle eastern market)
-2 sticks of unsalted butter melted(1 cup)
-2 more tablespoons of butter for the pan
-1/2 teaspoon of kanafa coloring (optional)
-crushed pistachios for the top

Oven temperature- 350° for 40 to 45 minutes

-2 cups of sugar
-2 cups of water
-1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
Boil for 10 to 12 minutes
