Instructions
Step 1
In llanera , add sugar. Set over low heat
Step 2
Allow Caramel to cool and harden
Step 3
In a bowl, add grated cassava
Step 4
Squeeze the cassava to remove excess liquid with a cheesecloth or paper towel
Step 5
Add the cassava back into a bowl and add in the evaporated milk , condensed milk , and the egg. Stir well

Ladle mixture into llanera molds. Arrange in steamer basket.
Step 7
Lower the heat to med-low then place the steamer basket in. Steam the Cassava flan for about 40-45 minutes
Step 8
Remove from heat and COMPLETELY COOL
Step 9
Run knife to unmold Cassava Flan
Step 10
Serve on plate
